    says that the Govt needs to get serious about carers, both paid and unpaid. Without them, our health and social care systems would have collapsed under the weight of Covid. They are underpaid and undervalued. A review is long overdue.

    now speaking. We should start to think differently about care - it is one of the strongest sectors we have in terms of growth. It’s time to be creative, innovative and scientific about care, rather than condemn it to run on cheap labour.

    adds that the prime minister should be applying his rocket boosters to finding a social care solution as it is the “biggest policy failure in a generation.” The Govt must also tackle gross health inequalities, which have been cruelly exacerbated by Covid.

    is next up. He says the pandemic has played havoc on our education system. Govt should give schools and pupils the time and resources to recover. Children have not only lost schooling but also part of their childhood.

    Building Fire Safety PNQ: Tower block management companies refusing to sign up to the Building Safety Grant unless agree to pay for all other remediation work. Leaseholders cannot commit to pay what they cannot afford. The Govt must address this issue-

    Post , the Govt could fund health/social care, education + training in poor areas, build better homes, tackle homelessness & increase pay. It is doing none of these things! The crisis gave Govt an opportunity to change society for the better, and it is wasting it.

    Queen’s Speech: L. President Biden has provided extra help for the poor, minorities & women whilst creating jobs, and improving education + childcare provisions - raising taxes on those who can afford it to pay for it. This vision is lacking in the .
