    No other injuries reported. Officer acted "calmly & tactfully"; his actions "saved lives today". Officer is a 17yr veteran.

    Per PD: Guns are not allowed inside the public library & there are no metal detectors inside. Police don't know where shooter got the gun.

    An officer inside the library at the time intervened, opening fire on the shooter, striking him in the torso. He was taken to the hospital.
