The problem isn’t our polarized politics. The problem is the spineless cowards in the middle, those still prattling on about “reaching across the aisle.” There is no middle ground between good and evil. Choose a side for fuck’s sake. Otherwise the side gets chosen for you.

Stop bemoaning our “polarized politics.” Damn right we’re polarized. Be proud of it. There’s only two sides here. One side supports a demonstrably racist, sexist, pathological liar and serial rapist who is actively undermining our democracy for his own benefit. One side doesn’t.

Just months ago Nancy Pelosi agreed to increase funding for CBP/ICE in exchange for a handshake deal with Mike Pence in which he verbally promised to more promptly inform her of child deaths in custody going forward.

I agree w/ everyone pointing out that the Democrats engage in performative opposition and do the bare minimum in resisting the march toward fascism. Ripping up a speech is cool but refusing to fund the border camps, the wall & the militarization of outer space would go further.
