At the one-third point of the Utah Legislature's annual General Session, fewer bills have passed (18) than the recent average (25.9). Of course, fewer bills doesn't mean less controversy or impact. #utpol

Here’s a few pictures from yesterday’s LPC meeting. 😊 I am honored to chair the Utah League of City and Town’s Legislative Policy Committee, which is where most of the work gets done. This leadership role allows me to represent the needs of Provo citizens to the state.

One day in the year 1892, when Edvard Munch was going for a walk near Oslo, the sky turned blood red.
He went home and created one of the most famous works of art in history.
But what is The Scream screaming about?

It's so easy: you can make your streets safer by cutting corners. Removing excessive pavement encourages slower vehicle speed, shortens crossing distance, and saves cities money and maintenance.

Cousins entire year was defined by being better at situational football. At doing exactly not that. How many major 4th and 3rd downs? To die like that?

I enjoyed hosting this amazing group of young men and their leaders this week at City Hall! We talked about how local government works, discussed shared concerns in the community, and took a quick tour. I loved the thoughtful questions and their desire to be involved! #herriman

1. This week, my family headed down to LA to watch the Utes play in their second consecutive rose bowl. After we got here, we noticed that my dad, was having some interesting symptoms(dizziness, fatigue, etc.) which we thought were from a sinus infection.

A young Layton boy was targeted, groomed online, and subsequently kidnapped from his home by a deranged monster.
The creep and his scheme were ultimately undone by a gas station attendant in a distant state who noticed something amiss.

One of the more incredible moments in my news career. While arriving on scene a woman flagged me down and said that she found a girl who is scared and left alone. I helped her get Police and they determined that little girl was the one missing in this amber alert.

A few months ago, someone in a neighborhood Facebook group who worked at a nearby 7Eleven wrote that everyone in his apartment building had been given two weeks to move out of their fourplex.
The building was sold and they needed to get out by the end of the month.

This is a lame article. I’m sorry he had bad experiences, but his story ≠ everyone’s story. I’ve had great experiences while being able to ask questions, push boundaries, and love and respect those who are not members w/o thinking the devil got to them.
