The xenomorphs are weird like that though. As a species, they've technically shown signs of intelligence. Enough to at least create hives and actively hunt other species. But when it comes to anything else, they're just biomechanical machines bred for killing and killing.

... damn you, O'Donnell. That's a good point. I think there's still untapped potential for other space shenanigans for the series to stumble upon other species. Maybe something neither malevolent or benevolent. Just some truly alien entity.

Haha! Oh, absolutely. Assuming the world keeps turning, they are never going to stop making these franchise movies. I’d bet we see a Space Marines centric Alien film in the next couple of years.
