    Yesterday we picked up a leatherback turtle from - found stranded at Mundon creek, Essex last week. Body recovered by CSIP-NHM team, , and local farmer- great effort all round! Examination of this unusual stranding by tomorrow

    If you're interested in modelling and infectious diseases, I can heartily recommend this amazing course. The teaching staff are awesome, the food is unbelievably good and it is great to have a two week long !

    This Anopheles annulipes is carrying an unfair burden of parasitic mites, there was probably close to 40 on this specimen! Mite infestation is not uncommon in this species as well as Coquillettidia spp. around Sydney's freshwater

    18 months apart, from the joy of setting out my first mosquito traps in May last year to this exhausted smile while collecting my final traps this morning. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped with the sample collection of my PhD - now the real work begins!!
