Really don’t understand why people fight over wearing masks. Everyone wore a mask on my subway ride today in Hong Kong. As did 90%+ of pedestrians. HK is 30C/86F, 84% humidity. There are 8 million residents, about the same as NYC. So far 1162 confirmed cases and 5 deaths.pic.twitter.com/kgbE5nRHNY

Not to nitpick but it was 33C. I felt every degree, as I'm sure did everyone else. Still worth it. 😷

Haha, guess it was because I checked around 7 PM. It's HOT & HUMID today and everyday. Tough to keep the mask on, but totally worth it.

Masks aren't comfortable, but neither are seatbelts. It took really graphic images of dead and dismembered for decades to get drivers to wear seatbelts. Problem is doubled that mask doesn't protect individual directly. People are just bad at evaluating risk, full-stop.

Surgical masks are much more comfortable in the heat than the cloth masks Americans have been encouraged to use. Government should provide these to citizens.

I hate wearing a mask in Jerusalem in the summer. I’m an asthmatic and it fogs my glassses up. But we do what we have to. What upsets me is when people without respiratory issues and no glasses refuse to wear their masks. If I can do it they can do it too
