China let foreign media in when it opened up to the world in late 1970s. Why?Because it needed the world to understand it and trust it. Now as China is confronting the biggest challenges in decades, it sure needs more coverage by credible news orgs like @nytimes @WSJ @wapohttps://twitter.com/adriennecarter/status/1250002791768248321 …

The editorial departments of the NYT/WSJ, both great papers, have been clear about their opinion of the CCP. If their editorial judgements had not 'infected' the reporting or their journalists, all would be well. But slapping on ledes like "old man of asia" assured their exit.

Do you really think that the CCP will listen to words like you just said? All they care is to take advantage of the press freedom in US while giving foreign journalist like you none in China.

There’s no freedom of reporting in China, journalists served for propaganda. While economies are setting back & epidemic needs to be covered up, foreign correspondents will be threw out flushed down like stinky toilet paper.
