Can't recommend enough this @iandenisjohnson essay on the dissenting scene in China since last year. Hope his point of "wu ji bi fan物极必反. Well I'd feel that the bigger 物極必反 trend in the world at this point is still that against the Pax Americana, which is stronger than the sub-trends... for now.
