    I am disgusted by the Home Office raids in Pollokshields. It is particularly unacceptable that this is happening during a pandemic, in an area that has a spike in cases and on the day of Eid. We need an immigration policy that is based on human dignity & human rights.

    Photo ID requirements for voting are straight out of the US Republican party playbook, designed to depress turnout. The worst of politics.

    Requiring photo ID to vote when 1 in 4 don't have it will stop people from voting. But that's the point. Because this isn’t about stopping voter fraud - it’s about disenfranchising the young, the poor, and people of colour. People less likely to vote Tory.
