A3) I'm not quite sure how diverse was though it may have reflected America at that time. Whereas I that the de Anza Exposition included people from European, African & Native American ancestry.

Actually the Corps of Discovery was remarkably diverse! In addition to a woman (Sacagawea) and an African American (York) it also included immigrants (John Potts), men from privileged economic backgrounds (Lewis) as well as working class, and others. #ParkChat
