Reaper feature I need: Some sort of audio bin in the media explorer that I can drag takes in to save for later instead of leaving them lying around on muted tracks

E.g. I've recorded multiple vocalisations in one take. Chopped it up, used some, deleted some, now I want to drop the rest in to the media explorer for later.

Yeahhhh it's almost what I want but I want the media explorer functionality. Also don't know if i'm being an idiot but checking 'Retain' isn't preventing them from being removed from the project bay if I delete them from a track.
