there has been so many times I've thought this, it may not be good for what your working on but ya never know it might come in handy later down the line.

I was pretty convinced I could pair up the hydrophone with the 416. It kinda works. I'll share at some point

If you have a contact mic, attaching that to the side of the bath can really capture the weight of your splashes/movements. I did some bathtub splashes a few weeks ago, and the standard mic alone was weak and reverberant as expected, but the contact really saved the session.
