Youtube has a shitty algorithm that detects bad language and demonetises the video because advertisers don't like it. It's not limited ads, it just says limited ads. But surprise surprise, no ads play at all man. This shit also happens for no reason. It's broken.

I'm not saying I'm agreeing with the way it is now. But the fact is that this is a ridiculously complex problem. If you look at how much content there is, and how hard it is to moderate this much content you would understand why they dont have a perfect solution.

Well a good way of NOT going about it is letting advertisers do the shit we can't. Not to mention all the fucking plagiarism that gets shownpic.twitter.com/yySixXPBE5

But they dont pay advertisers to run swearing ads, as they dont pay you to run swearing videos. They dont stop either running though. Thus there is no double standard. Plagiarism is actually bad though, which again I'm sure they are working on

Dude, they advertise these games like that so they can bait people into downloading it, they themselves make ad money from the games. False advertising is supposed to be illegal

First, yes these ads are bad and need to be stopped. No arguments there, plagiarism shouldn't be advertised. Period. But yes companies tend to make money off of advertising, but not from youtube. Youtuber make money from patreon off of videos with swearing.

If you want swearing ads gone you would also have to accept all videos with swearing have to go too.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying if the ads can do it, then so should we. It's the advertisers that didn't want swearing in the first place, but now they're doing it.

It doesn't matter if they all are or not, advertisers are still swearing and showing sexual content over videos that get punished for saying "Shit"
