What's the point in sharing or bothering with art if someone else can just whip up a sketch in 5 minutes flat and get the same praise I get for 50 hours???

it probably has to do with popularity a popular artist can doodle some shit and easily get 1-2k likes while lesser known artists can create a nice looking piece and hardly get 1k it sucks and can destroy your motivation sometimes unfortunately :(

Outside of artistic talent, which is subjective, there's three things at play with any given post: 1. Char popularity 2. Momentum 3. Luck The third is the most annoying, but the more you do the better your odds.
