Not sure if I should feel good or bad that I got more followers out of a story instead of any art or other content I posted. Either way, thank you all for the support, it means a lot!

One sad thing about all of this is how right my mom was about men being out there to rape you. I never wanted to believe it and I mocked her every time she drove me to a tournament and reminded me of this. She knew all along. Why is this the reality that we live in?

I forgot to add in the heat of the moment, but I was also stalked for a while by a man that was later banned from competing in Houston. He wasn't physically aggressive, but he doesn't know how to behave around women. Apparently he got into others car without consent.

On another note I'll have some artwork in not too long hopefully, been distracted with other issues. Thank you everyone for supporting me, it means a lot! I think I'm done ranting for now.

I also don't hate any people that behaved this way to me. We moved on past from it. I don't have any intentions of putting names out there and honestly I just try to accept that as a woman, these things will happen and its about trying to handle it the best I can.

I've had other experiences and I don't think I'll write them up in detail but sexism is ingrained so much in our culture, down to the little interactions. But it'll be very satisfying to come out on top of it with my goals being achieved. I won't quit.

At one point I was remotely public about being assaulted when I was new to the smash community and someone turned around and demanded evidence before he would believe me. It was frustrating because it took me a lot time to come to terms with being abused at all.

I feel bad about coming out on any abuse because men will be quick to say "evidence?" or say, "oh you were x age, so it's fine". I hope they realize how awful it makes me feel whenever I decided to be honest for one minute. I'm sorry for not recording things that happened to me.

Smashers wonder why women aren't common in the community and then either treat them like garbage for being relevant in any context whatsoever or victim blame when they get assaulted and come out. Absolutely appalling that this still happens.
