Found an old copy of Newsweek, which we subscribed to for 20 yrs and it reminds just how far it's fallen as a credible, informative news source. It's feral and vulgar today.

Newsweek Business Model: "Manufacturing rage for clicks..." Great description - it applies to most news media outlets these days. Storys tend to be inaccurate, or complete BS, but that can be overlooked, as long as they get page views.

Honestly this is true for many of the once proud media outlets. They seem to live in a day by day world, publishing anything that will get a reaction, a reaction larger than their competitors..clickbait publishing is here to stay until people no longer pay attention..

This is kinda sad. Newsweek was for a large part of the 20th century one of the most reliable sources for news and information about America, it's politics, people & places. Now it's just a name being used by a bunch of hacks who couldn't get hired at Buzzfeed.
