I am told by a person in the know that tweeting "learn to code" at any recently laid off journalist will be treated as "abusive behavior" and is a violation of Twitter's Terms of Service
UPDATE:
Source was a Twitter spokesperson. Company has issued following clarification.
"It's more nuanced than what you reported. Twitter is responding to a targeted harassment campaign against specific individuals — a policy that's long been against the Twitter Rules"
Just to be clear. They are backing away from what they originally told me. This "more nuanced" business was not part of my original email exchange with them. They also requested that I share this link on abusive behavior

Interesting. I reported a guy for saying “fuck you” to me and other colorful language. Got back from twitter it didn’t violate the twitter rules. So it’s only if Conservatives day something to a Leftist or Democrat.
What you originally posted was so ridiculous on its face that maybe you should have waited just a bit before tweeting it. You know, so you could see if there was in fact any "nuance" to it...
