A lot of profs totally dismiss my concerns about political bias. But then I'm warned, when going on the job market, not to mention conservative interests in my research statement, and even to bury actual publications in my CV, or leave them out, because they are not PC.

Many academic job ads even demand 'evidence of a commitment to values of diversity, inclusion, and equity', which is a dog whistle for 'don't even bother applying if you can't prove you're a liberal'.

Conservatives can't commit to diversity, inclusion, and equity? Since when?

Everybody knows 'diversity, inclusion, and equity' are code for liberal political values. Like the words 'tradition, liberty, and family values' are code for conservative values. The codes work because they're a classic motte-and-bailey strategy: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Motte_and_bailey …

Don't link rationalwiki. It's an unethical website that maligns politically incorrect people in a way that's super unfair.
