Again no one has the viral capabilities of YouTube. Vimeo is a subscription-based service so it's different. We are right now caught in the in-between phase. It's a tough balance between putting a Steph Curry dunk, which may turn out NOT to be exclusive, behind a paywall (or not)
I’m sure I’m not asking you things you don’t already know, so thanks. I’m used to putting up my own sports videos with much fewer views. Lol. This at least informs people of how the ad revenue these internet giants generate need to filter more down to the content creators!
It was blind luck to have reached the threshold of "importance" before YouTube pulled the plug on so many people earlier this year. Not quite sure how anyone could start from scratch anymore. Probably subscription model if you offer something unique and have a mini-following?
