I've left my upload unlisted for 24 hours and still no vp9 codec, sitting with avc1 codec in a game with a ton of motion, what gives @TeamYouTube? How am I supposed to grow a channel with this kind of quality?pic.twitter.com/Ull80jcAO7

Yeah my vids DO get the vp9 codec but usually after 10k views or so. If I upscale to 4k it would take much longer to render and upload, might be a rip
1440p will give the same result. Don't need all the way to 4k. That being said, I have had videos get VP9 after 30 minutes and up to near 48 hours. I know my mate Jon have had trouble with processing lately. So it might just be processing issues on YouTube's end in these days.
I'd suggest leaving it up for 24 more as a test to see if your channel's ability to get VP9 is still determined on a video-to-video basis. (yes, view count does affect prioritization)
