It would be interesting to see CFP who were successful in passing a blind selection round. I see Stripe is mentioned by name in both of your examples :)

Both were also accepted at conferences with blind acceptance (e.g. no company name references), but very much agree that brand can sway things tremendously

also the strategy I used to gain confidence in my early talks was to start with a smaller conference and then later submit the same talk to a bigger conference if the smaller talk went well (in my case, montreal python meetup -> pycon canada -> pycon us)
