Only surprising thing about the idiotic “recall Boudin” effort is that his haters from Day 1 waited a whole year. Their campaign is just a reaction to @chesaboudin commitment to dismantling racist practices & making our legal system more fairhttps://www.sfexaminer.com/news/chesa-boudin-responds-to-critics-in-first-state-of-justice-address/ …

This is not true. As usual people on Twitter are repeating falsehoods. The DA's office in 2020 had a 52.26% filing rate & a 65.74 action taken rate which is a higher % than 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014. Please see the data. This is too important to rely on word of mouth.

@cyantist this is interesting.@LetBlackWomenL1 thank you!! 3 Q's. 1. Are arrests down because crime is down? 2. Is prosecuting less crime ≈ less crime taking place? 3. How should we view the decrease in rate of Actions Taken? Just trying to learn.10 replies 0 retweets 1 like
progressive DA. We have been doing the same thing for too long & anyone who isn't on the side of change is on the wrong side, IMHO. At the core lives white supremacy, an unwillingness to give up privilege, while communities of color still suffer. I'm sure someone will tell me SF
