I take ppl at their word. If Zoe Saldana says she isn't Black - I believe her. That means she has zero place to play Nina Simone.
Ya'll discuss whatever you want - I'm not seeing ANY MOVIE where Nina Simone is played by someone who says they aren't Black. PERIOD.
