Honestly, why would i be surprised. Also, I feel like a lotta white ppl wouldn't even know she's famous and then treat her BADLY.

Tho if the only time we treat a black person nice is if they're famous, we still aren't doing well.

Meh, I don't have a problem with owning the group failings of white ppl. I work to do better, but I'm far from perfect.

I guess that's where you and I differ. I don't take responsibility, or ownership for someone else's hate and ignorance no matter what class

taking responsibility for the historical vestiges of people who have committed atrocities against others b/c of their skin would be hard.

I also think we don't spend enough time with those legacies to really understand how they affect us or how they affect others.

We got that same feeling when we stayed in Vail w/them. Had a problem they refused to correct. A Gold @MarriottRewards member treated badly!

Totally true. Every story has 2 sides. i bet she was being unpleasant to the other guest, loud and partying. I know thr Ritz and im big fan.

Could be that she expected her every single wimp catered to regardless of what it was. Her own bias attitude shows often in her posts.

Or it could be that they treated her poorly.
