      as our course is reaching its end, we've lost about half the students we started with. we still have the same amount of dogs to groom each week, so for the past few weeks there has often been a few dogs with only one student working on them.

      normally we work in pairs. i've still been paired up every week. this was making me a little sad and i thought that maybe i hadn't progressed to the point i could handle a dog alone. tonight i found out i've actually been paired with the students who are still nervous.

      i definitely have developed the skills, but i have the added bonus of being calm and confident around the dogs, and calming and raising the confidence of the person i'm paired up with. so the self doubt was misplace, and it proves to me i'm trustworthy and doing well 😊
