That's at least more than Microsoft offered me for 4 years of monthly xbox live payments to an account I didnt have access to, they offered one month refund and a free month of game pass, for a console I don't have

Yeah it sucks I worked in customer service unfortunately we were always told, "its not our fault you didn't realise you were paying" which I hated but we weren't allowed to budge on :(
