yo how do you prepare the lotus root? like in what form do u buy it and is they any prep before the bowl? soup looks great btw! : )
it's suprisingly easy! :D we got it from an asian supermarket veggie section, just chop and peel then boil or fry for a bit! (or in tempura )

ah okay, thanks! honestly i assumed it would come in cans (like bamboo shoots), but fresh is probably much better. sadly since covid i havent been able to make it to an asian grocery store, but definitely something to look forward to in a few months!
