Honestly, likes are pretty much useless, what matters most is if you like what you posted or not.
idk who needs to hear this but i've been 100x happier since i stopped checking how many likes a tweet/social media post got & how many of my friends interacted with it

I turned off all social media notifications a few years ago. Had a huge effect on my mental health and the way I use my socials, very positively. I now choose when I want to see replies and posts.
