If the soap/detergent is problematic you can just soak the mask in hot (boiled) water to disinfect it once it's used. The hot water is good enough to disinfect it then just give it a rinse after soaking.

This is of course for reusable masks. If the disposable masks are causing you problems maybe use your froggy masks.
