someone asked if i sold foot pics today in my chat; i paused what we were doing, zoomed in on my face and called them out on it. they then proceeded to get angry and say "it was just a joke!" & were promptly banned. absolute kudos to saria here for standing up!

to clarify: their follow notification popped up and it was the first message they had sent in my chat. it wasn't a joke, they were genuine. i usually brush off stuff like this & instaban but today i wanted to talk about it and laugh at it. what the hell?

I'm sorry you had an almost identical experience. Backtracking and calling it a joke is just manipulative, I hope that by speaking out more people can see that and change their behaviour

Good on you. im sick of people just saying whatever the fuck they want in twitch chat, thinly veiling it as a joke or in some other passive aggressive way where they “technically didnt say x” as well as in other online spaces. Let there be consequences.
