this morning the postman put my parcel in my wheelie bin, rang the doorbell & then ran away :)

As a postman I can say royal mail are actively encouraging this, to keep distance from customers, though running away seems excessive, I usually wait to see if they're in first lol
i apologise if this came across disrespectful to the post force, i respect how hard you guys have been working during the pandemic as the post couldn't stop! 
i was just shocked that it was in my bin without being marked as in a safe place & also signed for! (DPD!)
