in other news: in a short while i'm planning to spend a whole month in japan to hang out with my 2nd family & practice my language skills! i also plan to keep streaming the entirety of the time i'm out there so hopefully not much will change twitch-wise. very excited!

i take a weekly language class in bristol! it's not too expensive as the class is quite large and it's been the best learning experience imo
i taught myself from books for a while but it's not the same as being able to talk to a native speaker! there's a lot of good podcasts..
..and channels on youtube though, such as "japanese ammo with misa"! i use the "japanese for busy people" textbook which comes in romanji (english alphabet) and also japanese script so you can swap over when you feel confident enough! great book :D
