i'm doing it all freehand too but gonna invest in some french curves!
omg, is this traditional? it's so uniform i thought it was digital! and ah! i'd never even heard of french curves, you've taught me something! they look really helpful! and it's always nice to see your own progression to be proud of yourself. and you should be! 

oh sorry in case you meant the sky circles: i used... a diet coke bottle cap, a ring & chapstick lid to get concentric circles
the fluffy mountain clouds are freehand tho!!!

ALL of it looks so uniform though! but yes i love the clouds most of all. :> and the branches are so nice and organic - it isn't easy to make them look natural!
