Im no expert but I use Real Techniques, and use their sponges for Foundation. Although I just bought a Morphe eye brush set that I think is meant to be good, and was reasonable price!
makeup is so overwhelming... fellow face painting enthusiasts, what brushes do i get?? which brands are the best? HOW DO YOU KNOW?

My favourites are from Zoeva. I find that natural hair eye brushes/mixed hair blend much better than synthetic (just my opinion) but for the face it doesn’t make much of a difference and if you’re vegan that’s a no brainier. BH cosmetics are cheaper and do decent sets as well.

Real Techniques do good face brushes but I don’t rate their eye brushes. I personally don’t recommend Morphe brushes but a lot of people like them.

Don't buy something just cos it has a beauty gurus name on it
Look at reviews, consider manufacturing if you want something vegan (synthetic brushes & packaging). I've been using lots of Revolution stuff lately, they're cheap as chips but nice quality. It pays to shop around
