oh man i wanna tell you not to but i love these gosh darn markers so much and they're basically the reason i pursued art 
what brand are u looking at? i am aware some are cheap knockoffs and don't do the job well! if it helps my first set was only 48 markers & still expensive!
(also they're a bit fiddly as i'm sure you know so hmu if you want tipz etc - paper also matters too!!! they will bleed awfully on the wrong kind of paper (usual colouring book paper unfortunately i'm afraid))
I got some cheap knockoffs xD TOUCHNEW 168 for £70 on Amazon. They had 4.6 stars though - and I'm not a pro artist like you, I'm still just doing colouring books! Hopefully if I can hone my skills with the cheap ones the Big Boy Pens won't be so wasted on me if I get them!
