Yes a friend of mine pulled him from the lachlan river he was on a branch people were throwing rocks at him he has no tail feathers missing i had him tested for pbfd it came back positive lachlan can never be returned to wild .being a young bird he has a battle ahead of him
thank you for clarifying! so basically all the birdies are pets & not taken directly from the wild, i understand! thanks for clarifying! sorry i don't mean to judge L but i was under the impression they were being rehabilitated - some people might think that's a bit misleading!

the chuffed campaign says they were found in the wild & are sick so that made me jump to the conclusion that you found them and are paying their vet bills because no one else can! maybe the wording should be something like "x was rescused by y in the wild before i adopted x"?
