It's definitely not in Canada, or at least, not in British Columbia. It's the dumbest possible system I can possibly think of.
i can't wrap my head around it! for example, in japan they also list prices without tax.. but the tax is written in smaller text underneath the price (or already added up with a note saying "incl tax"!) WHY
