I'd say you should only be live for as long as YOU are happy to be live. Better to do little and often then try and stream long hours and be burnt out. Even if you can PUSH yourself to do longer streams past your limit viewers will notice your enthusiasm drop from being strained.

very good point - it's all about being the best for the audience! i always feel that i should go on longer to give people in different timezones equal opportunity to watch. it bums me out at the end of the week to count the hours i did and see how much less it was than at CA :(

True it is about being the best for your audience, but on top of that should always, IMO be about whats best for YOU the creator :) I struggle with timezones too, my schedule will only allow for me to work 9-6pm most days, so I just make the most of that. The audience will come

thanks dude, appreciate it ^_^ don't forget number one! i think i need to blast these feelings of guilt and accept that if i do any more it will be detrimental to both myself and the audience - who wants to watch someone who's burned out? i think i was looking for validation!

Agree with Lion, it’s about what you’re healthy and happy doing. Don’t burn yourself out for the sake of a few more numbers in the short term when it’ll affect the long term!
