      Agreed, but ONLY when what he says is Doctrine, and you dislike the Sacred Doctrine. If a Pope preaches heresy, you cannot follow it, lest you be anathemised.

          This wasn't a doctrinal evolution. It was a new covenant being issued by Jesus himself. A fulfilment of the law, if you will. Which speaking of it, as a new high priest in the order of Melchizedek, Jesus did away with priestly systems like the one your church instituted.
