Update: Channels in many niche topics are reporting massive drops in views today; I've found that real-time views aren't updating when compared to simply clicking on a video and seeing how many views it has. I believe this is a glitch rather than algorithm shift. @TeamYouTube

I didn't have a fresh post within 24 hours and didn't have a good before/after snapshot to compare. For me it was mostly across evergreen content making it even harder to track other than to note traffic is off 50%

So if I posted a video now, views should be normal +- the usual 24 hour lag, while realtime views are off? I've avoided posting just in case.

It briefly fixed for me and shot up 10k views back to normal but now it just removed them all again. Has to be a glitch.

That's encouraging at least. Did just notice my last video (published 6 hours before the fall off) is showing thousands less realtime views than actual views, so I am hoping it is in fact confined to realtime reporting only. Data all seems positive at least.
