No need to do all shopping or stockpile this morning. Food stores and takeaways staying open in the emergency. The 2km is about exercising locally. You can go beyond the 2km to buy food and medicines. The supplies are good. We all have a part to play in rising to this challenge
Racism is a virus that we have been fighting for millennia. Despite the progress we have made, it is no less virulent today and no less dangerous. We need to show solidarity as people of all races & backgrounds around the world come together to stop its spread and defeat it.

In recent weeks many people, mainly men, have spoken about the personal journeys they have been on. We should remember the saddest & loneliest journey is made by Irish women who travel to other countries in their 1000s to end their pregnancies. These journeys don’t have to happen

For the first time in 21 years, my sister and family won’t be home for Christmas. Like thousands of others, our family will be incomplete this year. I know it’s really unfair but it is for the best. Have to stay safe. We will make up for it next year and 2021 will be a great year

Visited the HSE’s new self isolation facility in Citywest this morning. It’s accepting its first patients today. The convention centre is being converted to a Covid19 Step Down facility with 450 beds. In the hotel, there’s approx 1,000 beds for those who need to self isolate
