The Guardian and 'i' are the only national newspapers in the UK to feature the IPCC report (with its stark warning for world leaders about climate change) on their frontpages this morning. Other frontpages are dominated by someone kissing someone in Strictly Come Dancing...pic.twitter.com/4usOvfuz2Y

Having said that, somewhat remarkably (given the history/legacy on climate misinformation of the Daily Mail's just departed editor, Paul Dacre), the Mail has this feature by Peter Oborne...https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6249587/PETER-OBORNE-sees-effects-changing-temperatures-Bangladesh.html …

Glad to see our hard work wasn't completely wasted then:) The report tells the world to start making huge scale changes today, but maybe we can wait until tomorrow. Strictly will be dancing the last waltz as the Titanic sinks...

To be fair, the 2am report launch (UK time) was horrible timing for the UK newspapers. Expect more coverage later/tomorrow. Plus it is leading the morning bulletins (for now) on the BBC... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-45775309 …
