I made these oil paintings about climate change because I think it is a dramatic illustration of what is at stake. These paintings are entitled "High Water Everywhere" and "A Skeleton of its Former Self".pic.twitter.com/ZWAreEw1kI

@SmileSimplify and @JohnnaSabri can you see the photographs of my paintings in this tweet?
Yes I see the photos of the illustrations embedded in the tweet you posted around 8:18pm PST.

Me too.
I'm painting now. I've been painting all night. I'm painting a Pangolin and it's baby to be specific.

Show us!
Devalues science, devalues democracy, devalues the generation of lives that has formed this great nation for many many decades.
I made an oil painting about ecosystem damage from Hurricane Harvey. The storm wiped out a colony of Mexican Free-Tailed Bats that lived under the Waugh Bridge in Houston, Texas. Climate change is making such catastrophic storms more frequent.pic.twitter.com/hNmNhaVlbF
@SmileSimplify and @JohnnaSabri What do you think of this painting?
I realize it is a matter of perspective; the three bats look really big bec they are nearer to viewer than the cityscape in the background. But 1st thought that popped into my mind: I am never visiting Houston TX if they have giant (mutant) bats in the area.

It is a beautiful painting, by the way.

So glad you think so.
I made this to highlight why losing this bat colony was terrible for the city. It is estimated that this colony of bats consumed two and one half tons of insects per night, providing an important check on disease-carrying mosquitoes.

Bats are awesome. I have a friend who works with wildlife rescue. Shes not on Twitter or I would tag her but she always has pics of her with bats and talks abt them
Have you ever had bats in your living room? It is fascinating, but you can't go to bed til they left the room.
No I haven’t! I have seen bats outside at night and in the evenings hunting insects. They are fascinating to watch.

The deterioration of science has started long before the current admin. Especially in the area of "#Public #Health", where official #propaganda is often based on cherry picked #junk #science. Most obvious re #ecigs.pic.twitter.com/KdulSqRomb
Like the repeated crapping about the #formaldehype, that is easily debunked even by laymen:https://nzillatron.wordpress.com/2014/11/05/freaking-formaldehyde/ …
