You misunderstand. The money Youtube/Google giving out is free. They don't *have* to do that. They saw an opportunity to reward people, in hopes of boosting PR. That people are creating content, quality or not, and getting rewarded for it is awesome.
And now that Youtube is circle-jerking people around about it is absolute bullshit. What's going on with the program? Is it dead? Is it for only the elite? Is it for everyone? That's the aspect I believe everyone should get an answer on, and quickly.
