We live in a broken system of fines and fees. if the department of Justice recognize this problem at any point in our history there must be some truth to it. Here we are in a pandemic and we still see threats of fines of $300 for violating social distancing in NYS.

this is not about safety or upholding law, this is about SUBMISSION, those who "talk back" get tickets. "submission addiction" is a driving force of police encounters, the pattern repeats, challenge and question officers, they find a way to "teach you a lesson."
