A recent video filmed by Destin depicts NYPD officers, entirely without provocation, illegally searching Destin and his friend without any cause. This kind of misconduct from the officers at issue is neither unique nor even unusual. Destin & his friends contend w/ it regularly.
This video is unrelated to the current charges pending against Mr. Burgess, but those charges arise from an incident nearly identical to the one Mr. Burgess previously captured. They didn’t identify themselves, there was no arrest or detention thus no need to search. This is a true police state for anyone who is a person of color.
There are two different justice systems:

My interpretation was they didn’t need to identify themselves because they do this to him specifically on a regular basis, which is arguably even worse.
@AOC why are the police allowed to do this? Why is New York run like this? Why aren’t local state laws changed to stop this?
Pretty safe bet that these cops didn't record the stops on their SQF forms.
