So now what are you going to do to help increase the actual supply of housing in NYC? Fighting landlords only does so much, at the end of the day it's still a classic supply vs. demand problem.

If we don't do anything to upzone and encourage more development the problem will solve itself through lower economic growth and people leaving the state. I don't see how that would be good for economically at-risk populations in New York.
