It's only a matter of time until workers are calling in because they don't have enough gas in their vehicles to drive to work & their wages are so low that can't afford gasoline because a gallon of gas is more than they make in an hour.
$15/hr was years ago. It needs to be $25.

I’ve had to call out of work on Thursday before because of gas. Waited till I got paid Friday morning to buy gas. Absolutely crazy that anyone working would need to worry about this but alas, here we are.

I had a similar problem about 20 something years ago, diesel was very expensive and I only had a truck. It cost me about 2 1/2 hours worth of work a day just to get there and back again each day! 🤔🙄🤬😭
