On average so far in October, Starmer's net approval rating is +15 (38% approve, 23% disapprove). However... his net favourability rating is +2 (33% favourable, 31% unfavourable). So lots of voters think that he's doing a good job - but they don't like him & won't vote for him.

He needs to oppose... he's increasingly looking like a slippery politician.

Almost as if he is.

Can't be right He's supposed to be electable. Maybe there is a reverse Corbyn effect. With Corbyn only liars and people who didn't know him claimed he was unelectable. With Starmer only liars and people who don't know him claim he is electable.

Electability is a prediction about whether someone will be elected or not. If you say someone is unelectable and they aren't elected, you are right. If you say someone is electable are they aren't elected, you are wrong.

Maybe this while agreeing with the government on almost everything thing and just wagging the finger in disapproval whenever there’s an issue is wearing thin.
